Manitoba- Winnipeg

Some pictures that may require explanations:

Picture with the black star in round circle.
A view looking down from the second floor of the Winnipeg legislative building's rotunda. The legislative building was designed according to neo-classic style, a combination of Greek, Egyptian, and Roman architecture styles. The black circle always seem closer to you as you walk around the circular rotunda. It is an optical illusion designed by the ancient Greeks (I think it is the Greeks!).

Picture with an old "scroll-like" object in a frame
This is one of the original copies of Magna Carta from 1215 that was issued by King Henry. When the Queen visited Canada in July and specifically when she visited Winnipeg, she brought with her, this original Magna Carta as a gift to the city of Winnipeg.

Picture of me and a Bear
In this picture, I was trying to pretend that I was sharing a straw with the bear (whatever he/she is sipping on).

Picture of Red Bull
Reminded me of something... : )

I am now in Saskatoon. One thing to say is that I had to give up going to Churchill in Manitoba. It required more time and much more $$$ than I expected. I will go back some day though.

Cheers,

David
