July 12th 2010Sudbury- watched "Invaders of Mars" at the Science North Planetarium

After the panicky night of driving endlessly in the dark, looking for accommodation because the folk festival was happening at , and landing at a barely bearable inn, traveling to Sudbury was a harder journey than it should be. Fortunately our spirits were uplifted by the beach at Parry Sound and then later again by the surprisingly clean, modern hotel that we lodged ourselves in.

In my own memory, Sudbury is small town with its main streets under heavy construction...with not much to see except the bridge of nations and the Science North center.
